Welcome to the Dothan, Alabama “Collision Avoidance Training program”.
The Dothan Police Department, our officers and support staff are committed to protecting both life and property of our citizens and ensuring the quality of life of the people and families within our community. We are always seeking pro-active ways to reduce crashes and subsequently the injuries and loss of life that goes along with them. Most disheartening is the too often occurrence of fatalities involving our teen drivers. We are extremely proud to offer the “Collision Avoidance Training” program which has created a proven success record through partnerships with other Law Enforcement agencies throughout the Southeast . This program has been very well thought-out, with our most desired target audience in mind, and I applaud the results thus far. I encourage parents everywhere to find a date and enroll their teens in this life saving program.
