Collision Avoidance Driving Skills For Life ...
Welcome to the Troy Alabama “Collision Avoidance Training program.” Today in America we face challenges that threaten the safety and welfare of our children and the quality of life for all members of our community. By a margin greater than four to one nothing in this country kills or injures more of our teens than traffic crashes. Most crashes involving teen drivers are classified as “avoidable” which means they are preventable. The dedicated men and women of our police department are committed to providing professional law enforcement services for our citizens. We are committed to protecting the lives and property of Troy residents as well as ensuring our unique and high quality of life. As the first agency in the State of Alabama to offer this pro-active, advanced driver training program we are confident the Collision Avoidance Training program will be a major part of our steadfast efforts to reduce teenage crashes, injuries and deaths. “We have been impressed with the programs proven success through partnerships with other law enforcement agencies”, says Sgt. Benny Scarbrough the program director. “We hope every parent in our community will make plans to enroll their son or daughter in this life saving program.”
